Ancona, 13rd March 2014 – After the signing of the Letter of Intent (LOI) for the construction of a 68 metre – the biggest megayacht ever sold on the Chinese market – and the two SuperConero 44 m, CRN has signed a new LOI for the construction of a 77 metres megayacht, destined for the Middle-Eastern market.
After the launch of the flagship CRN M/Y 80mt Chopi Chopi during the last edition of the last Monaco Yacht Show, CRN, part of the Ferretti Group and specialising in the construction of fully-customized displacement megayachts, made of steel and aluminium, ranging from 40 to 90 metres, is ready to produce a new important project: a 77 metres superyacht designed by Studio Zuccon International Project, whose project design was developed by CRN Engineering and the interior design by the architect Laura Sessa.
Designed in all its fine detail in close collaboration with the Owner, into detail, this Superyacht will be exclusively for private use and will become the second longest vessel of the shipyard of Ancona, between CRN 129 80 m Chopi Chopi and CRN 124 73 m Azteca, iconic vessels that contributed to the history of the Brand.
The letter of intent for the 77 metres superyacht highlights again an intense period for the Ancona shipyard, where at the moment 6 vessels of the CRN brand are being built: namely 4 steel and aluminium megaychts – CRN 131 74 m (designed by Zuccon International Project), CRN 132 73 m (designed by Omega Architects), CRN 133 61 m (designed by Francesco Paszkowski Design) and CRN 134 55 m (designed by Nuvolari & Lenard) – to these vessels another maxiyacht of the Ferretti Custom Line, the CL 124’, and a Riva 122’ Mythos made of aluminium will be added.
Lamberto Tacoli, Chairman and CEO of CRN, comments: “I am very proud of the signing of this last letter of intent for a new 77 metre megayacht, another ambitious project for CRN, which allows us to continue to grow. I believe that CRN’s challenge involves keeping the “tension” high while aiming at continuous improvement. With this in mind, the project of the 77 m is a new challenge in such a strategic market as that of the Middle-East”.
With the signature of this new LOI, the shipyard demonstrates its strong vitality in the Midlle-East.
