Thursday, October 25, 2007

Ferretti Custom Line takes advantage of the 48th Fort Lauderdale Boat Show for the first presentation on American waters of the new Navetta 26, the new front-runner in the fleet’s semi-displacement series.
After a glittering succession of appearances at the European international boat shows, Ferretti Custom Line comes to Florida with its new prestigious maxiyacht, the highest expression of luxury sailing for the few lucky owners who can appreciate the total purity of its lines, its elegant proportions and outstanding performance.
The official American debut of the Navetta 26 once again highlights the close links between Ferretti Custom Line and its transatlantic market, a genuine point of contact between Italian sailing traditions and the New World.

• Navetta 26: given its world premier in Cannes last September, the front-runner of the of the fleet’s semi-displacement line embodies a new dimension in on board well-being with special emphasis on environmental impact. The yacht, built in collaboration with the Studio Zuccon International Project and AYT – the Ferretti Group’s Advanced Yacht Technology - its 26 metre length and almost 7 metre beam offer a response to new trends expressed by the most expert owners in search of absolute quiet.

The Navetta 26’s first appearance follows last year’s American debut for the Custom Line 97’
- backed by an undeniable commercial success she has established herself as the international Queen of the Seas in the planing hull maxiyacht category thanks to her 29.70 metre length and aggressive yet elegant layout. The Custom Line fleet is completed by two new Ferretti Custom Line designs given a world premier at Montecarlo – the Navetta 33 and 112' NEXT, important new arrivals for the nautical year 2007-08.

• 112' NEXT. The new Ferretti Custom Line flagship completes the fleet’s planing series alongside the 97', part of a total revamp of the company’s offer. This yacht is a natural development of the 112’, and stands out not only for its elegance but also its ability to ensure total enjoyment of the sailing experience and the most advanced build standards.

• Navetta 33: At a certain point in their lives those who love the sea and have fulfilled most of their aims on land are faced with a new horizon – to sail mile after mile without touching land, visiting faraway, untouched destinations. Only a yacht like the Navetta 33 can best embody these desires!

The style of every Ferretti Custom Line yacht is inspired by a synergy between owners and the yard’s architects, and its high safety standards are a reflection of the constant research carried out by the AYT (Advanced Yacht Technology), the engineering division of the Ferretti Group the yard is a part of, for the production of composite maxiyachts with planing or semi- displacement hulls. The entire range, in fact, makes use of the most advanced technology, including Naviop, Gi8 and Furla.net control systems, which enable fast, efficient monitoring of all on board systems.

Quality of life at sea or at anchor is assured by Mitsubishi ARG (Anti Rolling Gyros) and all the features included in the MCA Short Range Compliant category, the latest regulations from the Maritime and Coastguard Agency, expressly intended for 24 to 38 foot maxiyachts, improving safety standards and making the yachts suitable for charter use.
