A new plant in Fano for Custom Line

Sunday, January 1, 2006

Custom Line in Fano has moved its operations to a new plant which will be dedicated to the construction of the new Custom Line 97’. Custom Line moved to the new plant in Via Filippini 13, where it has a work shed of 2866 sqm, in the industrial area of Bellocchi di Fano adjacent to Resin system in January.

Larger dimensions and an industrial pole technologically advanced were the characteristics for this new investment which allows CRN to construct four Custom Line 97’s at the same time.

The transfer to this new site is a new milestone reached by the shipyard in its ambitious development plan to build, at the same time, vessels from 30 to 72 metres in Ancona and Fano, of which 19 maxi yachts are in composite materials ranging from 29.5 metres to 43 metres and 6 mega yachts in steel from 54 to 72 metres. From the expansion and modernisation of the production areas to the investment in buildings and machinery technologically advanced has been the main aim of the management team at CRN and which has been achieved in these past three years. The shipyard’s growth, which has developed over 360°, has seen both the plants and work force triple. This growth has meant that the shipyard has developed a number of vessels in construction and which can undoubtedly be considered without rivals in the yachting world.

Among the new projects presented during 2005 is the Custom Line 97’, a 29.5 metre planing maxi yacht which replaces the historical Custom Line 94’. This new project is the result of the collaboration of the technical staff at CRN and Studio Zuccon International Project. The new line maintains several basic characteristics even though they give the idea of more space for the interiors and stern and fly areas.

The first hull of this new line is under completion and 8 vessels have already been sold and will be launched in spring.
