CRN M/Y Atlante awarded in America

The 55-metre yacht of the historical Italian shipyard triumphed at the International Superyacht Society Awards, winning the “Best Power Design Award 2016" in the category between 40 and 65 metres. The ceremony was held during the 57th Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.

CRN, the historical shipbuilder and Italian brand part of the Ferretti Group specializing in the construction of fully-custom steel and light aluminium alloy pleasure vessels between 40 and 100 meters in length, received yet another important international acknowledgement at the International Superyacht Society Awards with M/Y Atlante, against the magnificent setting of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.

In front of a wide audience of experts, CRN’s iconic 55-metre superyacht was awarded the “Best Power Design Award 2016” in the category between 40 and 65 metres thanks to her strong stylistic identity which makes her a unique and aesthetically innovative vessel in international yachting.

The outcome of the joint efforts of CRN’s Engineering Department, in charge of naval design, design firm Nuvolari Lenard, who took care of her exterior profile, and of architecture and design practice Gilles & Boissier, who the interiors, M/Y Atlante conquered the Jury with her crisp and bold exterior lines, which express a strong masculine identity, reflecting the Owner’s wishes and taste.

CRN Chief Commercial Officer Stefano De Vivo commented the award: “Besides making us extremely proud, this award is a powerful sign of the strong brand awareness of CRN in the American Market.With Atlante, CRN Atelier has conceived an unprecedented vessel, which goes beyond conventional paradigms and constraint. Besides M/Y Atlante, two other CRN yachts were among the finalists of the International Superyacht Society Design Awards, confirming the brand's great popularity also on the other side of the Atlantic: 46 m M/Y Eight in the “Best Refit” category and 73 m M/Y Yalla in the “Best Power” 65 m plus category.
