Ferretti 761: a perfect combination of performance, comfort and luxury

Saturday, October 9, 2004

The Ferretti 761 is a motoryacht with a slim shape and soft, smooth lines, and offers excellent performance and handling. The agility of a 22-metres yacht and comfortable living of a 24-metres yacht are perfectly combined in this new craft with its innovative design. In line with its new conception of light and space, the Ferretti 761 has a newly designed master cabin, where light is the key to experiencing a feeling of total immersion in the sea. Thanks to two open-view windows on both sides, comprising a single panoramic window and two side windows that can be opened, the owner can enjoy a view of the sea from anywhere inside the cabin.
As well as the innovative open-view windows, which are characteristic of the new generation of FERRETTI YACHTS, the 761 also features another innovation. The master cabin head has been transformed into a large health and beauty area. Fitted out like a Turkish bath, the walls are lined with mosaics and it has a removable teak bench with a flat basin that can be used as a plunge tank.

The Studio Zuccon International Project, in close collaboration with FERRETTI YACHTS Engineering, has once again succeeded in creating a high-impact atmosphere combined with the performance and comfort of a yacht which will be an assured success.

The Ferretti 761 fly bridge is a large and splendid lounge for spending sun-filled days with family and friends, even when on the move. Next to the external controls, with a panel that can be opened electronically, there is a large two-seater chaise-longue and a large seat that makes piloting the yacht a more comfortable and relaxing experience.

Opposite the pilot's seat, behind the chaise-longue, there is a functional unit with a fridge, hob and small sink. This is an indispensable extra for preparing an open-air meal or a quick drink. The dinette has been designed with a large semi-circular divan placed at 45° to make the little table in the centre more practicable and facilitate conversation with anyone occupying the large sun-lounger next to it.

Concealed steps in the post lead from the upper deck to the spacious saloon, to ensure clean lines in the design of the saloon. A small but important detail that enhances the elegant features of this motor yacht, and emphasises its innovative design. Still in the saloon, a unit with an ice machine and concealed washbasin - a major plus on craft of this size - is located behind the 3-seater sofa, which also has the use of a large table. Thanks to skilled design, the unit also conceals the access to the stairs used to go down into the systems and engine rooms.

The living area on board the Ferretti 761 is characterised by a classic U-shaped sofa, which is both functional and comfortable. Opposite the sofa there are two large single armchairs, which can be moved closer to the sofa or the saloon so guests can chat together. Thanks to open-step stairs leading up to the fly bridge, it was possible to make the most of the space in the galley - practical and functional as always - and in the dining room, which is longer. This large and spacious room can seat up to eight people to eat.

Ferretti 761 is the result of careful design which has made the most of the space, and rendered it easier to use and to live in. A convenient side door accessible from both the galley and the controls leads to the outside. Next to the large control-room, which is concealed by the galley bulkhead, there is a forward-facing dinette with a sofa and sliding table, which can be turned into a private work station or reading area.

Going below deck, as well as the large master cabin located amidships which uses the whole length of the beam, Ferretti 761 also has two guest cabins, both with bunk beds and private head, designed to make the most of the vertical space. Finally, the VIP cabin is located in the bows. This is very comfortable, with a large double bed and a private head. The crew quarters are spacious and comfortable, and can be accessed from an independent door so as not to interfere with the privacy of the guests. There is also a laundry room with a washer and dryer unit and a very capacious store-room.

The Ferretti 761 has two different power options:
- two Caterpillar C30 12V, with almost 1600 HP, for a cruising speed of 31 knots (maximum 34 knots).
- two MTU 12V 2000 M91, 1500 HP for a cruising speed of 30 knots (maximum 33.5 knots).
