Düsseldorf, 15th January 2015 - This Saturday 17th January, the 2015 edition of BOOT, the Düsseldorf International Boat Show, will officially open. During the event, which will last until 25th January, the Ferretti Group will display four of the most prestigious models in its fleet: the iconic Riva yachts Rivarama Super and Aquariva Super, and two première for the German market, the Ferretti Yachts 750 and the Pershing 62.
Both these crafts, which have already been enthusiastically welcomed at all the international boat shows they have been taking part in, belong to the “strategic” category ranging between 60 and 80 feet in length, which is particularly sought for in continental and northern Europe.
The Ferretti Yachts 750 and the Pershing 62 are, therefore, two more representatives of a fleet that has always skilfully blended together the most interesting technological innovations and the top-quality of Italian traditional craftsmanship.
The Ferretti Group is taking part directly in the BOOT again after a few years away. At the boat show - the first to be held in 2015 and one of the most exclusive ones for the European yachting industry - yachting enthusiasts and visitors will be welcomed by the Group’s staff in its large, stylish stand set up in Halle 6, both during the nine days of the show and on the occasion of the Blue Motion Night, which will be held on Tuesday 20th January, when the show will remain open until 10 p.m.
“Every year the Düsseldorf boat show plays a crucial role for the Ferretti Group, as it allows us to get in direct contact with customers, journalists, and dealers from central and northern Europe, an area characterized by a high standard of living and a still-growing economy” - commented Stefano De Vivo, Ferretti Group's Chief Commercial Officer. “This is why this year the Group has decided to take part in the boat show directly and to present four very successful models of its fleet, including two absolute première for Germany: the Ferretti Yachts 750 and the Pershing 62, which are leading crafts for our brands; they both belong to the category between 60 and 80 feet in length, a very appealing range on these markets".
FERRETTI GROUP’S TWO PREMIÈRE AT THE BOOT 2015
FERRETTI YACHTS 750
The Ferretti Yachts 750 has an overall length of 22.75 metres and a beam of 5.70 metres, and is a true milestone in the evolution of the brand's range above 70 feet in length. This yacht, which features several innovative solutions both outdoor and indoor, immediately strikes for its streamlined and sporty outer profile, which benefits from the installation of an elongated-tail, aerodynamic flybridge. In the standard version, without the hard top, the flybridge is even more spacious, as there is no davit. The sundeck is in any case also available in the other two versions - with a roll bar and integrated Bimini top or with a hard top and awning. The outer aft area hosts an over-1.5-metre-long electrically-hydraulically operated swimming platform that can be lowered by almost half a metre below the water surface, resulting in very easy tender launch and haulage.
The platform can lift up to 450 kg and can host an almost four-metre tender.
The Ferretti Yachts 750 will come in two different engine configurations: two MTU 10V 2000 M84, 1381 Mhp engines or, as an option, two MTU 10V 2000 M93, 1524 Mhp engines. The standard configuration allows to reach a maximum speed of 30 knots and a cruising speed of 27 knots, while the optional configuration can push the yacht to a maximum speed of 32.5 knots and a cruising speed of 29.
PERSHING 62
Natural evolution of the Pershing 56 and Pershing 58, two of the brand’s most successful models, boasting more than 70 built and sold hulls, the Pershing 62 immediately strikes for its streamlined, slender profile: the bottom line and the superstructure have indeed been designed to obtain a slim, fast yacht characterised by aggressive lines and a sporty personality. Truly breathtaking is also the unique shape of the hull glazing - a typical feature in Pershing's new era that can now be found in this model too, preserving the family feeling and ensuring great brightness in the full-beam master cabin located amidships. The VIP cabin too benefits from two windows with portholes, which let it plenty of natural light. The Pershing 62 is available in two versions: with three cabins and three heads with separate shower box or with two cabins – the master stateroom and the VIP cabin -, while the guest cabin is replaced by a living area. Moreover, two engine configurations are available for this yacht: two MTU 10V 2000 M84, 1381 Mhp engines or two MTU 10V 2000 M93, 1524 Mhp ones. In this second version, the Pershing 62 can reach a maximum speed of 46.5 knots and a cruising speed of 42 knots. In the standard model the Pershing 62 is equipped with Searex surface drives; upon request the Autotrim system can also be installed.
