Ferretti Yachts 830, exclusive contact with the sea

lunes, 12 de septiembre de 2005

The Ferretti 830, 25.3 metres long, is the second super-yacht in the FERRETTI YACHTS fleet. The new Ferretti 830 has a completely new hull design which represents a total innovation in the FERRETTI YACHTS tradition: the master cabin has two new windows comprising an ample glass with two small opening side-windows. This open-view solution provides a wide view of the panorama from anywhere in the cabin.
In perfect harmony with the Being Ferretti philosophy, love of the sea and the search for aesthetic detail are perfectly combined with avant-garde technology in the new sophisticated devices with which the Ferretti 830 is fitted: NAVIOP and ARG. The NAVIOP system is a software that allows continuous monitoring, including via SMS, of alarm situations (windows, doors, video cameras and smoke detectors) and also yacht management (electrical system, pumps, tank levels, etc.). The ARG (Anti Rolling Gyro System) is the exclusive gyroscopic anti-rolling system designed for the Ferretti Group by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, which cuts the movement caused by waves by over 50%.

In terms of interior design, the new Ferretti 830 ha gloss-finish cherry-wood dcor, which gives craft by FERRETTI YACHTS their distinctive style, and fabric-lined walls. The large saloon (4.5 x 6 m) is dominated by an L-shaped sofa which has a central leather-covered table and a side table. On the right-hand side, there is a conversation area comprising two small armchairs resting against the unit containing the 32" plasma TV, with its pop-up mechanism. The saloon also has a Hi-Fi CD/DVD surround-sound system with eight loudspeakers, two located in the cockpit.

Eight people can comfortable eat in the saloon, while the crew can access the kitchen easily by means of an external passageway. The saloon also has a day head located between the day area and the wheel house, which has a new, far more welcoming layout. Alongside the controls, to enjoy navigating with the owner, there is a spacious and comfortable dinette for two people, and a map table.

Below decks, the master cabin is in the middle of the yacht and has been positioned widthways to provide two large windows giving total immersion in the outside panorama. The sleeping area is divided from the head by a large glass panel in the centre of the cabin that acts as a bed-head. This can be screened by a Venetian blind for privacy, while allowing plenty of natural light into the room through the large windows.

The innovative interior design of the Ferretti 830 gives an all-round view of the sea also from the master cabin. You can be comfortably immersed in the hydro-massage bath or under the roomy shower, lying on the bed or sitting on the seat under the wide windows. everywhere you have the impression of total contact with the sea. The two communicating bathrooms were designed with dual access: one for services and the other for the two-person shower area which can, if required, be replaced by a hydro-massage bath. The master cabin also has two walk-in wardrobes, a lady's vanity unit with a chaise-longue by the side and a Hi-Fi radio/CD system with a subwoofer and two loudspeakers to listen to music even during the most relaxed moments.

The central corridor leads to the two guest cabins with twin beds, each with its own head with shower. Continuing toward the bows you come to the large VIP cabin which ha a double bed also with a head. All the heads on the Ferretti 830 have teak floors with an open-pore finish and inlaid marble. On the fly-bridge, where it is possible to have a hydro-massage bath fitted, the roll bar, normally fitted towards the stern, has been turned towards the bows to create a shaded area over the sofa for the hottest part of the day.

To ensure total comfort and greater privacy, the engine-room has been located between the cabins and the crew's quarters, which can be accessed from the outside. The engines have been positioned along the line of the axis and the skipper can access the engine-room directly. Silence is guaranteed by the inter-position of the diesel tank which is larger and gives more autonomy. Finally, the large stern cockpit (3.5 x 4.5 m) can house a table for eight, and the garage below, the door of which opens to become a beach at sea level, is ideal for storing a jet-ski.
