Liquidity: glamour on the waterLine

miércoles, 1 de octubre de 2003

An aristocratic and technologically advanced external layout. An interior dominated by the
warm hues of the Mediterranean. A style that combines modern design with traditional details.
"Liquidity", the latest vessel to be launched in the prestigious Custom Line 94’ family of maxiyachts,
has been researched and studied down to the smallest detail. Hull number 18 of the
highly successful 29.25-metre planing line, "Liquidity" guarantees top-notch navigating
performance combined with maximum onboard comfort. Nine guests and four crew members
can be comfortably housed in this maxi-yacht, capable of reaching a top speed of 28 knots and
a cruising speed of 25 knots. The interior furnishings, designed by the Zuccon International
Project firm in collaboration with CRN’s technical staff, together with the external layout, are a
perfect reflection of the shipowner’s taste: both refined and dynamic. The outside layout is
completely devoted to social intercourse: the cockpit of the main deck holds a large oval table,
an ideal site for enjoying cocktails with friends or for breakfasting while looking out at the sea.
On the bridge, in addition to the two navigation posts, the shipowner has a Jacuzzi tub
surrounded by comfortable sun lounges, plus a dining area with a bar and barbecue. The
layout of this elegant jewel includes the shipowner’s suite in the forward portion of the main
deck, plus a dining room with an adjoining living room alongside the cockpit. The salon on the
main deck, which can also be entered through a sliding door that lets in plenty of light, is
decorated with a corner sofa in a yellow coloured leather, a hue also found in the "Vittoria"
model chairs by Frau in the adjoining dining room. The conversation zone, designed for
passing pleasant moments in the company of others, is equipped with a plasma monitor that
folds into the ceiling, plus a movable bar. The dominant shades of colour, warm hues of cream
and orange, mix with more intense shades, such as the red of the cushions in the salon and
the cherry wood of the furniture, creating a variety of styles pleasing to the eye. Light passes
through the entire vessel, in what amounts to its unifying theme, while the extremely delicate
colours create an unfailingly cosy atmosphere in the various areas of the boat. Another
excusive feature of "Liquidity" is its galley, equipped with prestigious Gaggenau appliances that
are futuristic and elegant in appearance but simple and functional to use: full-fledged design
elements outfitted with technological features that make them perfect for life onboard. The
elegance and charm of the shipowner’s cabin is highlighted by the dominant colours of bronze
and gold. Along with the finely trimmed cushions, the exquisite fabrics of the bedspreads and
the sky blue Brazilian Donyx marble in the bathroom, the shipowner’s suite is also equipped
with an exclusive 42-inch plasma monitor. Dynamic but equally refined, down to the smallest
detail, is the lower deck, set aside for the night zone of the guests and equipped with a VIP
cabin that extends to the stern, running the full length of the vessel, plus two guest cabins,
one of which has a French-style bed, while both are equipped with their own bathrooms. With
a decorating scheme centred around contrasts, the VIP cabin features the hues of the
Mediterranean, alternating between hot and cool colours while mixing and matching the simple
design lines of the relaxation area with the more elaborate upholstery of the bed. The two
guest cabins, understated but exquisitely styled, are decorated in hues of red and green.
Functional efficiency and modernity live side by side in what can truly be considered a
seagoing salon, where the elegance of the materials combines with the skilful arrangement of
the spaces, including those for the crew, which has a roomy and comfortable dinette in the
forward portion of the lower deck, plus the captain’s cabin and the crew sleeping quarters.
The design of the engine room, which adjoins the tender garage at the stern, is also highly
rational and efficient. The tender is especially easy to launch, thanks to the hydraulic hatch,
which, when opened, serves as a platform just above the waterline, providing guests with a
beach area from which to dive into the water.
