Timeless navigation on board Helena

viernes, 1 de agosto de 2003

It symbolises the spirit and soul of the Custom Line 112’ series for its power, elegance,
aggressiveness and comfort. The desire to live life at sea at a full 360°, to ride the emotions
and sensations on board a dream. "Helena", the hull number eight in the prestigious Custom
Line 112’ planing line, launched on 27th May 2004, is impressive due to its majestic and
refined beauty and for its extremely personal and original choice of fabrics and materials.
Dominator of the sea, ideal for long relaxing journeys, this 34 metre vessel can easily
accommodate ten passengers and 4 crew. A jewel which is the result of the collaboration
between the technical staff at CRN and the Studio Zuccon International Project, "Helena" has
its own distinctive personality. There are many examples of personalisation on this mega yacht
both in its aristocratic external layout and of the internal areas. Life in the open air, direct
contact with the sea, wellbeing and comfort influenced the owner’s choices for creating a
unique and perfect dream. It is powered by two Mtu 12v 4000 M90 engines which enable this
queen of the seas to reach a maximum speed of 29 knots and a cruising speed of 25 knots.
Performances which enhance the passion and fascination and nearly perfect vessel. The
entrance to the main salon is impressive and has been carefully designed to enjoy relaxing
moments in complete privacy. The sitting room area has a fully equipped bar, a plasma screen
and a large corner sofa in soft light beige and ivory tones. The unique and particular element
in this area is the liquid crystal panel which and depending on the owner’s choice can be either
transparent or opaque. The dominant item throughout the vessel is the use of leather panels
for walls and ceiling which stand out in contrast to the cherry wood furniture. Light, is the main
protagonist on the main deck. It crosses the main deck through to the owner’s suite, with
large side windows and forward windows, giving a real sensation of sailing in the open air. This
solution, of the owner’s cabin situated on the main deck, has been adopted for the first time on
a Custom Line 112’. The suite is large and welcoming where natural colours and shades of
brown have been used: from the burnished raffia bed head to the cushions in various shades
of beige. The two large walk-in wardrobes are classic and refined in style and reflect the
owner’s wishes. The lower deck reserved for the guests with two VIP cabins one of which as a
small double bed, is dynamic and all details have been carefully studied. The two doublebedded
VIP cabins are in similar tone and colours but at the same time different: from the
geometric shaped bedcover to the pouf covered in black leather, to the fabrics, which blend
transparency with opaqueness. All of the decor reflects the trends of the 70s. The garage
situated stern of the lower deck can accommodate a Harley Davidson. For the first time on
board a Custom Line 112’ a sauna has been installed forward of the lower deck which is
adjoins a large area dedicated to relaxation. It has a shower unit finished in gold calcatta
marble, a sofa with cushions covered in raw linen. This area is the ideal place for relaxation
and wellbeing. The fly bridge on this vessel is also unique as it has been designed to enjoy
direct contact with the sea at any time of the day. A Jacuzzi whirlpool bath, sunloungers,
chaise-longue, bar and barbecue and a particular bimini top allow "Helena" to have two large
shaded areas. Lit during the evening and covered during the day, the dining table on the fly
transforms itself in to a new dining room, facing breathtaking views of the oceans.
