Custom Line 124’ work in progress
mercredi 7 avril 2010
April 2010 - Production of the 124' model of Custom Line, a Ferretti Group brand, continues successfully at the Ancona facility.
The project, presented during the last edition of Festival de la Plaisance in Cannes, was developed through the working relationship between architect Gianni Zuccon from Studio Zuccon lnternational Project, and the AYT (Advanced Yacht Technology), the Ferretti Group's naval research and design centre.
"Custom Line 124' will shortly be ploughing through the waters of the Adriatic," declared Marco Segato, Ferretti Custom Line Brand Manager. "The first two models of the new yacht have already been sold, and are currently being built at the Ancona facility. Production start up for the third is planned for no later than the beginning of the summer season, confirming the positive market response to this new model. Consequently, we're particularly confident about the sales prospects of Custom Line 124', a yacht which harmoniously combines elegance, performance and highly innovative solutions and will be presented as a world première at the next Festival de la Plaisance in Cannes".
The new flagship of the planing line stands out for her spacious on-board areas and renewed lines, featuring a design which provides for foldaway platforms with an electro-hydraulic opening system to create terraces over the sea.
Moreover, as per Ferretti Custom Line tradition, this yacht can be personalised by her owner. This is possible for all those elements which are not strictly structural, from the decor - which can be chosen from a range of quality materials such as wood, leather and fabrics - to furnishing complements. This is possible through established working relationships with a number of top ltalian and international brands.
Moreover, the wide range of personalised solutions offered by Custom Line makes it possible to alter the use of some of the different areas, based on an owner's requests. For example, a fitness area can be fitted on the lower deck of the new 124', equipped with top quality, last generation wellness equipment, or a chrome therapy system can be installed in the heads, for a cruise centred on wellbeing.
