Custom Line, part of the Ferretti Group, is the leading shipyard in the production of maxi yachts in composite materials from 26 to 34 meters, with planing and semi-displacement hulls. Custom Line is the most prestigious upper level brand of the Ferretti Group and it is the natural development from Ferretti Yachts’ production of yachts over 88 feet in length, with a broad range of customisation possibilities.
Born in 1996 from an idea of Norberto Ferretti, Custom Line made its debut in 1998 at the Festival de la Plaisance in Cannes with the presentation of the 94’ model, where it routed the competition to take a leading place in the market for this type of yacht, thanks to the introduction of a new conception in interior and exterior layout design.
The affirmation of Custom Line follows a path characterized by the passion for high level yachting, renewed with every project, nowadays it is an important shipyard producing three models in range from 30 to 34 meters: the Custom Line 97’, the Custom Line 112’, the Navetta 30, and the new project, Navetta 26.
The outstanding Custom Line maxi yachts are semi-customised, a unique feature of excellence. An architect from the shipyard is at the owner’s disposal during the ship building process suggesting several customisation possibilities.
All the parts not directly related to the yacht’s structure, starting from the décor and furniture, can be selected among a wide choice of precious woods, leathers and fabrics.
Custom Line maxi yachts are characterised not only for their refined elegance, but also for their ability to provide owners with marvellous cruises, fully agreeing to the most advanced safety standards of construction.
Available in two versions, with planing and semi-displacement hull, Custom Line maxi yachts meet any requirements of comfort and performance of owners who choose and interpret the highest expression of Ferretti style.
The Custom Line maxi yachts with planing hull are characterised by performances, even preserving high levels of elegance and comfort. For those who prefer a relaxing cruise, Custom Line offers its models with semi-displacement and displacement hulls, which provide a combination of comfort, elegance, and traditional lines, together with smooth and silent cruising.
Custom Line’s technological leadership is confirmed by the Anti-Roll Gyro (ARG) stabilisation system, patented by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, now a standard feature on the complete Custom Line range and licensed exclusive at least until 2007 on Ferretti Group’s yachts. This system has been tested for the first time on a Custom Line Navetta 30 and it is able to reduce by more than 50% the rolling, the main cause of seasickness when anchored offshore or in a port.
The Custom Line maxi yachts range from 29 to 34 metres, comply with MCA Short Range standards, the latest safety regulation issued by the Maritime Coastguard Agency specifically for 24 to 38- metre maxi yachts, which also allow their use as charter yachts.
Custom Line yachts are characterised by the attention paid to the owner before and especially after purchase of the yacht, as well as extremely high standards of service and customer care at all times and anywhere in the world.
From September 1st 2006, Custom Line brand management and headquarters have been located in the Forlì shipyard, headquarters of Ferretti Yachts and Mochi Craft. The production of the Navetta 30 and Custom Line 112’ remain inside the CRN shipyard in Ancona, the 97’ production is realized inside the Fano shipyard, while the new Navetta 26 will be built in the Cattolica shipyard.
Custom Line is attending the Dubai International Boatshow 2007 showing the model of Navetta 30 in its stand at the booth A6.
