Ferretti Custom Line opens its doors to the community

Ancona, May 2009 -Ferretti Custom Line, brand of the Ferretti group and one of the international leaders in the construction of composite, two or three deck maxi yachts from 26 to 34 metres, is taking part in the "Welcome to the Shipyard", on May 16, initiative sponsored by the Ancona municipality that aims to promote links between the nautical industry and the local Marche region.

"The new production site of Ancona, recently opened, is the centre of production of the flagships of the fleet: 112' NEXT of planing line and Navetta 33 of semi- displacement line - says Maurizio Roman, CEO of Ferretti Yachts, Mochi Craft and Ferretti Custom Line - together with Fano production site where we produce Navetta 26 and 97' models. Ancona shipyard represent a strategic site and for this reason we decided to realize here a new important project, 124' (37.80 meters), a new planing maxi yacht featuring an harmonious blend of elegance, performance and solutions that are strikingly innovative for craft of this length."

The site includes also a showroom where the Owner, together the naval architecht of the shipyard, can choose all the parts not directly related to the yacht's structure, starting from the décor and furniture - precious woods, leathers and fabrics - to furnishing complements, that can be selected amongst a wide choice, thanks to collaborations with the best ltalian companies' proposals.

Engineer Giuseppe Macolino, Plant Operations Manager of the Ferretti Custom Line Ancona will open the shipyard's doors to the community that will have the opportunity to attend guided visits of the site and visit maxi yachts in various stages of construction in order to know the Excellence of the shipyard.


The participation of Ferretti Custom Line Ancona site to the initiative "Welcome to the Shipyard", that last year had a great success, confirms the shipyard's commitment to promote and reinforce the strong connection between nautical industry and local region.
