Ferretti Group: Convergence 2007, the customary training course for captains of yachts max. 24 metre
vendredi 22 décembre 2006
After the success of the three previous events, the fourth edition of Convergence will be held from February 27th to March 2nd 2007 in Naples. Convergence is entirely dedicated to the theoretical and practical training of captains of all Ferretti Group yachts max. 24 metres.
Captains from all over the world will take part in the meetings and theoretical workshops, which will be held in lecture rooms in order to thoroughly analyse the various aspects and specific problems of boating; while the technical workshops will include visits to the shipyard and technical speeches by on board equipment and systems experts.
During the three day course, captains will have the opportunity to visit the brand new boat production centre of Torre Annunziata, where work began in November 2002 and is now almost being completed. The Torre Annunziata production centre, of great strategic importance for Apreamare and for the entire Ferretti Group, will be a new, modern shipbuilding yard extending over an area of approximately 185,000 m2, 65,000 m2 of it covered.
Another appointment has been planned from 19th to 21th of March 2007 in Barcelona, Convergence Navi, specifically thought up for Captains of megayachts over 24 metres, which will concentrate on the in-depth analysis of the technical and managerial aspects of boating.
The three day course will also offer the possibility of visiting the facilities of Pinmar, European leader specialized in yacht painting and refitting.
The two events will provide Ferretti Group captains with a significant opportunity to discuss their experiences and exchange ideas regarding the complex, day-to-day management of luxury motoryachts.
