The Marina of Cattolica has been the scenario on April 18th and 19th 2009 of the Privilege Days, extraordinary event dedicated to the international Owners community of Ferretti Yachts, Mochi Craft and Ferretti Custom Line. For the seventh edition of Privilege Days, traditional and exclusive rendez-vous for luxury yachts lovers, the shipyarhd chose Cattolica - where last year celebrated its 40th anniversary - historic location with special importance for Ferretti group.
The Marina Nuova area has been totally dedicated to Ferretti Yachts, Mochi Craft and Ferretti Custom Line complete range on display available during the whole weekend for onboard visits and exclusive sea tests in order to give the host from all over the world the possibility to experience the made in Italy Excellence .
Privilege Days involved also two of the most celebrated brands of the international luxury industry such as Bulgari and Mercedes taht will show some news in exclusive for Ferretti group hosts. The event culminated in the evening of Saturady 18th with a surprising firework display by "Scarpato" - with a tradition of over 200 years in fireworks.
Chairman and CEO of Ferretti S.p.A. Norberto Ferretti did the honours as hosts - friends, VIPs, and shipowners - allowing all their guests to feel part of an exclusive scenario.
Privilege Days 2009 - Details new models on display
During Privilege Days, Ferretti Yachts, Mochi Craft and Ferretti Custom Line have shown on display the complete range that will be available the whole weekend for onboard visits and exclusive sea tests. There were also the latest models introduced at the boat shows of Cannes, Monaco and Genoa 2008.
For Ferretti Yachts the latest models launched are Altura 840 and Ferretti 470, result of the cooperation between Studio Zuccon Inetrnational Project and AYT - Advanced Yacht Technology of Ferretti.
Altura 840 renews and extends the historic Altura series and had his début at the Festival de la Plaisance 2008 . This model, together with Altura 690, has been conceived with an extremely comfortable yacht with generous, welcoming spaces and cutting edge technology, complemented by finishings with a nautical feel, including an extensive use of wood.
Ferretti 470, launched at the Salone Nautico Internazionale of Genova is an ideal blend of form and function. The combination of compact size - 14.65 metres long, with a 4.34 metre beam - and intelligent optimisation of space creates an opportunity to enjoy the great Italian-style luxury and experience sailing while surrounded by levels of comfort unknown until now in this type of yacht. The moving at stern of the galley increases the liveability: thanks to the tilting window it's possible to create an open space with a seamless transition between cockpit, galley and living area. Guests accommodation area offers three cabins: two for guests and a master cabin with large bathroom.
Mochi Craft, along with the celebrated Dolphin line, the Lobster Boat Italian Style, displayed Long Range 23, the first yacht over 20 feet able to crusie in "Zero Emission Mode". Result of cooperation between Norberto Ferretti, AYT Ferrettiand Studio Zuccon International Project, Long Range 23 is a real distillation of innovation and technology launched in worldwide première at the latest Salone Nautico Internazionale in Genoa. Equipped by the revolutionary hybrid propulsion system, Long Range 23 can operate in 5 different modes - easily controlled through a touch-screen display - ranging from the traditional diesel function to the zero emission mode. Hydrodynamic efficiency is ensured by the new FER.WEY (Ferretti Wave Efficient Yacht) trans-planning hull which reduces the typical roll experienced by displacement hulls and improves static stability by up to 50%. Its special design, with longitudinal tunnels protecting the props and a horizontal base on the bow bulb, allows the boat to rest on sandy bottoms and stay moored in locations subject to tides. Backed by exceptional environmental awareness Long Range 23 embodies the perfect mix of avant garde technology, Nordic "work boat" tradition and sophisticated Made in Italy taste that Mochi Craft has skilfully expressed since 2003. In the interiors, the choice of prized materials, warm woods - like teak and oak- natural fabrics and cutting edge design solutions redefine the concept of on board luxury and quality of life in the "expedition boat" segment.
Ferretti Custom Line displayed in Cattolica, among the maxi yachts of its fleet on display, Navetta 33, semi-displacement line model result of cooperation between Studio Zuccon International Project and AYT - Advanced Yacht Tecnology of Ferretti. In almost 33 long, with a beam of 7 metres, Navetta 33 offers a new concept in on-board life, with generous spaces, natural light and high levels of comfort.
