The 88’ Domino Super gets its first triplet

mardi 14 juillet 2015

La Spezia, 14th July 2015 - While enthusiasm is still lingering in the air for the fabulous première held last May in Monaco, the Riva 88’ Domino Super is already celebrating its first achievement: just a few weeks after its official launch, Ferretti Group announces the sale of the first 3 hulls of the new Riva coupé yacht.

“The official presentation of the 88’ Domino Super at the Yacht Club de Monaco was a very exciting moment and now, we can surely say that event was the starting point of what is already a commercial success. Less than two months after, Riva and the Ferretti Group are proud to announce the sale of three yachts”, commented Ferretti Group’s Chief Commercial Officer, Stefano de Vivo.

The three yachts have been sold in three different markets, showing how the 88’ Domino Super has been welcomed enthusiastically at an international level: the first hull will go to an Owner from continental Europe, the second one will be delivered in the Asia-Pacific, meanwhile the third will cruise across Middle-East seas.

These are the first positive results of a commercial strategy aimed at confirming the leadership of the Ferretti Group’s most iconic brand across the world.

88’ Domino Super
Characterized by a slender profile and an extensive restyling, the 88' Domino Super is bound to set new standards in the yachting sector as a whole in terms of style, comfort, and performance. The new model is called Super also because it marks the evolution of the species. The 88’ Domino Super yacht immediately strikes the eye with its aerodynamic lines, which are also enhanced by the hull's original colour shade, the dark 'London Grey', in pleasant contrast with the lighter 'Moon Grey' chosen for the superstructure. This innovative feature goes hand in hand with other new design solutions: the new sun deck, which highlights the yacht’s sporty character while offering its guests additional comfort; the large continuous hull glazing, resulting in a truly aggressive look; and the restyled aft area, which adds the final touch to the yacht’s dynamic personality. The aft swimming platform, which can be lowered into the sea, makes diving into the water and getting back onboard much easier, as well as enhancing tender launching and haulage operations.

In the standard version, the yacht is equipped with two MTU 16V 2000 M93, 2435 Mhp engines, allowing it to reach a maximum speed of 38 knots and a cruising speed of 34 knots. As an option, two MTU 16V 2000 M94, 2638 Mhp engines can be installed instead, pushing the yacht up to 40 knots and ensuring a cruising speed of 35 knots.
