Ferretti Yachts: the excellence also on the young designers' training

Ferretti Yachts took part to the conference "Innovation and Technological approach on the nautical sector" held by the Yacht Design Master of the University Politecnico of Milan on the 19th of November, with a speech focused on innovation in the nautical market. Ferretti Yachts, being one of the most influential manufacturers of fibre glass flying bridge motoryachts and sponsor since the first edition of the Master in 2001, was called to bring its success story to the students.
With a wide range of products, perfect balance between technological solutions and nautical tradition, FERRETTI YACHTS is more and more strengthen its leading position in a high potential developing market oriented to a qualitative approach.
Fulvio Dodich, Ferretti Yachts CEO, presented the strategic importance of the design in producing successful yachts addressed to a upper class target.
The typical "Italian touch" of the Ferretti design is neither high-modern, nor fashion oriented but it is an up-to-date elegant style (as demonstrated by the selection of the Ferretti 880 made by the ADI Industrial Design Association Index 2004).
The profitable cooperation with Zuccon International Project Studio, specialised in yacht design and internal architecture, makes the Ferretti yachts' design a perfect balance between naval engineering, managing rationality, comfort, internal brightness, quality of the materials, aesthetics and love for the sea.

The Ferretti Yachts speech is part of the Yacht Design Master sponsorship, which includes the shipyard visit to better understand all the production phases and also a stage inside the company which can also become a real work chance inside the Engineering Department for the students of the Master.
