Monaco – 23 July 2024 – The world debut of the new wallywind110 is approaching at the Monaco Yacht Show 2024 (September 25-28) carrying multiple significant meanings: she will be presented in the year of the brand’s 30th anniversary and is also the first in the wallywind performance cruiser range, which will also feature the wallywind130 and the wallywind150.
The project for this first semi-custom sail model since Wally became part of the Ferretti Group began in 2022 and with its launch in June, it has now become a reality.
Additionally, the second wallywind110 is already under construction.
The all-carbon hull, laminated in a female mould, will impress enthusiasts at the Monaco Yacht Show with her bright metallic paint with blue reflections, that subtly shifts tone with the changing light. Wally’s ability to remain at the forefront of the sailing superyacht industry, along with the focus on performance, is confirmed by the 6.95m telescopic keel, the carbon fibre twin rudders and her towering 48m Hall Spars rig.
The wallywind110 showcases all the distinctive features of Wally’s timeless style, combining comfort and performance. The naval architecture by judel/vrolijk & co perfectly integrates with the interior and exterior design, resulting from the know-how of Wally’s design team led by Luca Bassani in collaboration with the Santa Maria Magnolfi studio.
One of the most impressive features of the wallywind110 is the exterior design, especially the cockpit dimensions, comparable to those of the most modern 60m sailing superyacht. Guests can relax on several sofas, sunbeds, and seating, enjoying the 80 square meters of the cockpit, completely free of technical equipment. An additional lounge is located on the “sea terrace” and another one on the foredeck.
The careful planning of space is evident below deck, where the engine room’s placement below the saloon has allowed for the creation of an open, light-filled interior. Natural light streams in through the hull windows, deckhouse windows and skylight, illuminating the dining area, the lounge and even the office.
