The Ferretti Group is the top Italian company and twenty-eighth of the 500 Hot Growth Companies in Europe. This emerged from research carried out by the important English magazine ‘Business Week’, which ranked the companies on the basis of their turnover growth compared with the sales volumes and number of employees, thus putting together a list of the top European companies from different sectors.
The only company in the nautical world on the list, the Ferretti Group confirms itself once again as sectorial leader, boasting an expansion which has been possible thanks to the constant product and process innovation and continuous research within the field of technology.
With a three-yearly rate of expansion of 90.7% and a Production Value as of 31st August 2006 of 770.4 million Euros (an 18% increase compared with the 652.9 million Euros registered the previous financial year), today the Ferretti Group brings together the most exclusive brands of the nautical world, namely, Ferretti Yachts, Pershing, Itama, Bertram, Riva, Apreamare, Mochi Craft, Custom Line and CRN.
Luxury yachts are designed by a team of over 100 specialised engineers - the Advanced Yacht Technology team - and built in the Group’s 22 production units. Over 2,800 employees, managed by Chairman Norberto Ferretti and Chief Executive Officer Gabriele Del Torchio, share a continuous quest towards quality, technological excellence, top performance, an exclusive, innovative design, maximising comfort and taking care over detail. This common, daily commitment has taken the Ferretti Group to the very heights of the nautical world.
The Ferretti Group is currently present in 95 countries, thanks to both its three representative branches situated in Europe, the United States and Asia, and an international network of dealers, formed of over 75 carefully selected distributors, which guarantees the Group’s clients the very best assistance in marinas all over the world.
