RestartMilano presents OSSESSIONE ITALIANA
11 апреля 2013 г.
"Ossessione Italiana" is an exhibition-event focused on the planning and execution expertise of the best Italian production, a process founded on passion for detail and quality of the product, on obsession as a foundation of Made in Italy. Ossessione Italiana will be presented from 6 to 14 April 2013, part the city circuits of MiArt and of the Fuorisalone events during the Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan. The exhibition, curated by RestartMilano, is hosted by MdP1, one of the historic buildings in Brera, a few steps from La Scala, which is currently undergoing a major redevelopment to provide,
from its original function, new living spaces of the highest quality. In "Ossessione Italiana" RestartMilano brings together a range of products and projects that follow, from the specifics of their individual histories, the same thread of a passion for quality and details "for its own sake", one which originates from the need of expression of the individual
authors, rather than from mere market positioning. Along with some established products, there will be new projects that develop and expand the
work done over the last few years. In the exhibition, RestartMilano is previewing five new items, including a system of modular bookcases and a new wall desk. With "Ossessione Italiana" RestartMilano wanted to include his 2013 collection in a context of affinities based on the same values that guide its research. Thus the choice to show, among others, the meticulously tailored shirts of Finollo, the rough grace of the Seppietta speedboat by Riva, the love of decor and the great manual skills of the Sicilian embroiderers, the traditional craftsmanship of Ebanisteria Ghianda, the opportunity of
the New of Adriano Olivetti, the urban utopias investigated by Patrizio Di Massimo, the exclusive confectionery specialties of Babbi and the culinary excellence of Triangolo dell’Olio. MdP1 and RestartMilano want to donate this enriching eperience to their guests through an exhibition that brings together objects related to the world of art, design, boating, fashion and
superb craftsmanship.
