Maria Luigia can enjoy a variety of on–site or nearby
activities: it is possible, among the many offered, to
take part in tours of downtown Modena and the his-
toric Albinelli market, accompanied by a private guide,
or to sample the city’s best local products, including
salumi, Lambrusco, tortellini, tigelle and balsamic
vinegar. Guided tours of Luciano Pavarotti’s house
are also organised, or Made in Italy shopping days
with true VIP treatment. Balsamic vinegar tastings
are organized in the vinegar cellar, while food lovers
can visit the production of two iconic Modena delica-
cies, Parmigiano Reggiano and Lambrusco wine, but
for those who want to put their “hands in the pasta” of Osteria Francescana.
