On the occasion of these first fifty years of Tignanello, the
Antinori family replanted the last part of the Tignanello hillside
vineyard and took the opportunity to pay homage to the city of
Florence and the Italian culture on a wider scale. The primary
aim was to pay tribute to wine with a tasting of five vintages
representative of the five decades at Tenuta Tignanello. In
addition, Palazzo Antinori in Florence was ‘enlivened’ for
the first time in its history with the evocative experiential art
installation Ars Una, by artist Felice Limosani, on display from
31 May to 16 June. The Antinori family’s unbreakable bond with
Florence is also evidenced by its commitment to support the
restoration of the Ponte Vecchio for conservation purposes,
which will begin in the fall of 2024 and continue through 2026.
There is perhaps no better union in Italy than that between
artistic culture and wine culture: a tribute to the minds and
hands of the best Italian artisans.
